SEATTLE SCI UNIT
December 2021, Northwest PVA celebrated Christmas with a catered hot Prime Rib Meal & fixings to all the SCI Inpatients and SCI Unit Staff on duty. We ended the celebration with giving several Christmas gifts for our SCI Inpatients, Nursing Staff to promote patients moral and Recreational Staff for further patient services.
Northwest PVA sets up a three year contract through Comcast and donates $14,000 for WIFI installation throughout the Washington State Orting's Soldiers Home Nursing Building, providing adaptive communications in “Celebrating 30 Years of the ADA.
During the COVID-19, 2020-2021; Northwest PVA donated $2,500 for wreaths for every memorial monument on the Washington State Capital, Washington State Veterans Homes & Federal Veterans Cemeteries, and Washington's Garden of Remembrance due to no ceremonies due to Covid.
During COVID-19, 2020; Northwest PVA donated $15,000 for 17 new medically sealed TV's for Seattle VA COVID-19 Unit being built for Covid-19 patients.
Year 2019, Northwest PVA through a generous grant in memory of the Z-Man, and donated $75,000 to build and produce a van for the Seattle SCI Recreation Therapy Unit.
